The latest diode laser addons from Snapmaker are the 20W and 40W Laser Module, which comes with Air Assist. These powerful modules allow Snapmaker 2.0 users to upgrade their printers to enhanced desktop laser cutters. The modules are compatible with Snapmaker 2.0 Quick Swap Kit, Snapmaker Artisan (3-in-1 version), Snapmaker 2.0 A350T/A350, A250T/A250, F350/F250, and 20W compatible with Snapmaker 2.0 A150.
The 40W module allows for 20mm Pinewood cutting in one pass, 15mm basswood plywood cutting in one pass, and the 20W module allows for 10mm basswood plywood cutting in one pass.
Air Assist, including the Air Assist Pump, can be controlled via Luban.
It includes a built-in quick swap mechanism and the ability to focus the laser with a Focus Lever, as well as line up the job with crosshairs. There is also a Laser Safety Shield, Orientation Detection, and Overheat Protection.
